The various techniques - meridian work, muscular, and craniosacral treatments - all work on different levels and that’s why they can create a manifold increase the well-being and health of horses. That is also why it’s important to remember that working with horses goes far beyond the practitioner. Using „alternative” methods to assess the health and well-being of the horse can lead to external factors being uncovered which can have long term positive or negative effects on the horse. There is a significant difference, for example, between horses who have ample turn out and horses who spend most of their time in stalls and are not exercised enough. It’s fascinating how much quicker a horse will recover from an injury or serious illness when such factors are considered.
